Partnership with suppliers in the development and use of raw materials from renewable sources, reducing CO2 emissions, such as the green polyethylene for production of green films Stretch, Shrink and Bags.
Study of new forms of energy efficiency with redesign of the energy matrix, seeking better use of energy resources.
Employees awareness process about the environment, through the implementation of "pollutants waste emission reduction program" and "3R's Program" - Reuse, Renew and Recycling (both already started in some units);

Economic and financial responsibility, environmental legislation is strictly adhered to by all group companies. Its corporate governance committees guide the necessary investments (machinery, equipment and people) in order to reach each desired certification;
Commitment to new ways of reducing impacts, constantly reevaluating concepts, processes and productive vectors, managing rationalization and reduction.
Encouraging partnerships that focus on uses of products with less waste on the environment.
The location of plants, in order to use shorter routes for deliveries, reducing fuel use during transportation.
Training for users of products, so materials are properly used, avoiding waste.
Ensuring that products are non-toxic and recyclable.
Recycling of 100% of tailings in plants through clean and free from debris processes, including the use of tailings for manufacturing alternative products.

Besides all these internal initiatives, environmental responsibility is shared with our partners - like Unilever, Coca Cola, Danone, Pepsico, and others who share their experience and international standards, allowing the Packing Group expand its actions for sustainability.
